Ombuds FAQs

  • An "Ombuds" is an office that serves as a neutral, independent link between individuals and organizations.

  • The MyConnext Ombuds is a confidential resource that helps MyConnext visitors access its features and explore options to address or report concerns about workplace conduct.

When a MyConnext visitor contacts the Ombuds, the Ombuds will:

    • Listen and explain how to navigate or file a report through the MyConnext Reporting Tool

    • Respond to questions about resources, including any applicable policies

    • Help the MyConnext visitor explore options for action

In each case, the Ombuds provide independent, confidential, impartial, and informal support.

  • Many people may need help with the online reporting platform or have questions about the resources available and the various reporting options.

MyConnext visitors can speak with the Ombuds about their available reporting options and any concerns before deciding whether to file a report.
